About K-2 P.E. Class
Changing the Game
My name is Zendzi Curry-Neal but my students all call me Coach Z. I have been a proud member of HSA Belmont's Physical Education department since 2014. My hope for the 2017-2018 school year is that P.E. provides your child with a fantastic opportunity for our K-2 population to improve physical fitness, develop sports skills, and appreciate overall health. We will be exploring exercise routines and participating in a variety of activities, culminating in our school-wide, competitive Sports Day. The goal of P.E. is to develop students’ passions for recreational games while building character, sportsmanship, and self-respect.

Student of the month
The student of the month will be selected based on which scholar has best exemplified sportsmanship, leadership, and respect.
Sticker Challenge
The Sticker Challenge is a way for students to exercise their cognitive abilities during PE class. It encourages healthy competition between cohorts and grade levels. The premise is that each class has opportunities to receive stickers by collaborating, encouraging one another to make positive choices, and practicing safe play at every opportunity.Â
The class that accumulates the most stickers after each semester will receive a fun class-wide prize to celebrate their success.
